APP Hospitalist

As an Echo Locum Tenens clinician, you have the freedom to choose what assignments you cover. You will also receive competitive pay with related travel and lodging provided, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, and full-service support staff, which includes credentialing, logistics, payroll, and licensing assistance.

• Hours of shifts 7a-7p
• Current, unrestricted license in New York State
• 45 day credentialing time frame
• Must have 1-2 years minimum hospitalist experience
• Potential for temp to perm
• 13-15 patients per day is the average
• No ICU or trauma

Requirements of Advanced Practitioners include:
Perform evaluation and management services to patients requiring hospitalist services with the hospitalist practice
Develop treatment plans
Complete admissions
Perform dictation of H&P examinations
Cross cover for the hospitalist team
Perform dictation of discharge summary and procedure reports
Write progress notes
Order routine and special laboratory studies
Write orders for inpatient and outpatient medicine
Perform such other responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the chief hospitalist and within NP/PA scope of practice
